It was cute to see a somewhat shy Johnny come out of his shell a bit while playing around the yard. I love the middle picture with the big red barn, yellow dump truck, the tumbleweed (that must have blown in...I didn't stage it there!) and cute Johnny concentrating on his art.
As you can tell, this time I ended up playing around with different series of pictures. I'm a sucker for collages, but have been experimenting with action shots and series of 3 or more.
For the photo shoot I decided to play around with different props. (I picked up some chalk at the Dollar Store beforehand...it turned out being perfect to provide some entertainment for the kids while I got some fun shots! The rope swing and toy dump truck were also successes.) I've been finding that it's a lot easier to just let the kids play and get candid shots along the way.
Rachel, thanks for bringing Liberty, Johnny and Evey over!

Evan, Suzie and Ethan-- I just have to say that this is such a cute family! You could tell that the three of them all get along well and Evan was so sweet with his younger siblings. Way to be a great older brother!! :0) We did this photo shoot as a surprise father's day present and I had such a good time. Thanks Irene!

Christine and her girls-- What fun times doing this photo shoot!...Hawaii made the perfect setting, my cousin and her girls are all so beautiful and photogenic and it was definitely fun and entertaining to watch their cute interactions with each other. Isn't family great? :0) Thanks you girls for the awesome vacation and for making such great models!

Britta*, it was so fun to take family pictures for you...what a cute family you have! I'd be happy to take more anytime. "Merci" you guys!! :0)
(*Britta is such a creative, imaginative and crafty person. Check out her blog for ideas and to browse her etsy shop.)
These three just graduated from high school and have been friends since Kindergarten. I had such a fun time doing this photo shoot and was grateful for their patience with me... I am more used to photographing babies and small children :0) In any case, it was fun to meet you girls! Thanks Megan, Kimmy & Megan.
